The Adam show was far more sophisticated than I had expected, continuing a trend I've seen from Adam Lippes. Lots of fur, grown-up trousers and chunky knits--my favorite things for fall and winter. I also just got a fisherman style cable-knit cardigan, so I'm super drawn to the black crewneck version shown with the mixed media skirt.
I absolutely love when designers who do a presentation and photoshoot rather than a full-fledged runway show take some risks with the poses and lighting. Erin Fetherston never disappoints, but this collection, at least for me, was ideal. The soft lighting and editorial poses made me like this collection even more.
